I would like to thank all parents for coming to the conferences. I am so lucky to have such a great class and great parents! Remember, if you need anything, I am here for you to answer any questions that you may have. :)
I also want to thank you for being cooperative with our last minute field trip this past week to see the show "Henry and Mudge." The children had a great time.

*PARENTS* - if you would like to be a chaperone for our upcoming field trips this year you will need to fill out a volunteer application and be fingerprinted. This needs to be done right away! If you are not cleared before our field trip, you will not be able to go with us.
You can apply online at www.getinvolvedineducation.com --> click here <-- to go there. Once you fill out the form it will go directly to Coral Cove Elementary. You will then need to get a form from the office that you will need take downtown to get fingerprinted. This form is signed by Ms. Holmes and you will not have to pay to get fingerprinted. There will be extra forms you will need to sign once arriving downtown. From what we are hearing, this could be a hour or so wait.
Our first field trip is planned for Flamingo Gardens on November 14th, but we need all forms in weeks before this date, including chaperones. Fingerprints need to be done by October 14th!
If you just want to volunteer in the classroom, you only need to fill out the volunteer application. You do not have to be fingerprinted. If you filled out an application last year, your application is only good for 1 year. So if you applied last August of 2005, it will expire August 2006. You will then need to re-apply.
Please do this as soon as possible! Thank you so much for your cooperation, and if you have any questions, please ask me. :)
I will keep this section updated with all the important dates to remember throughout the school year. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call/write a note/e-mail me. It's going to be great year!
