I have updated the photo gallery section.  On Halloween we had centers all day.  These pictures show the students enjoying fall/halloween centers.  Click STUDENTS and then click  PHOTO GALLERY.  Enjoy!

I moved the section, What is my child learning this week?, to the main page.  I think this might be an easier place to view it each week.  Also, be sure to check out who our star bee of the week is every week and who are student of the month is by clicking under STUDENTS.

I have just added a link in the CLASSROOM section called the Coral Cove Courier.  This is the flyer that comes home every Friday in your child's homework folder.  It has the breakfast and lunch menu for the week, and it also has upcoming events for the week.  It is updated weekly.  So if you happen to lose yours, it's online here every week. :)  Enjoy!  -->Click here<--to view the Coral Cove Courier.

PARENTS!!!  I have just added a *must see* link.  Many of you have been asking me how you can help your child read at home.  I have the perfect link for you.  I added it to the PARENTS section.  Once there, click on Reading Tips.  Then click on Helping Your Child Read.  There's loads of information and pintables for you.  I know this information will be very useful and will help your child succeed.  :)                       -->Click here<-- to view this fantastic site created by Ms. Sanchez.

Parents and students! I just found two really neat sites that explain internet safety.  The first is a story called, The Three Little Pigs Internet Safety.  This story is by Disney.                      Click -->here<-- to watch it and read it.

I updated the CLASSROOM webpage with  a scroll down box, just like this one.  It is called, "what is your child learning this week?"  This section is for my students and their parents.  This will be updated weekly so you can keep track of what we are learning in our classroom. 

I also updated our Daily Schedule webpage and I added a link to our Character of Month.  Check it out!

I also updated the PARENTS webpage.  I added a link to Virtual Counselor for the parents of my students.  This link will provide you information on your child's test scores and AIP/PMP (Academic Improvement Plan).   I also added a link for volunteering.  If you would like to volunteer, you will need to fill out the application and get fingerprinted.  I will talk more about this at open house.  You will also need to be fingerprinted if you would like chaperone a field trip.  This needs to be done ASAP!! 

I added a link on the STUDENTS webpage. The link is called RiverDeep.  All of my students use this website in the classroom.  It focuses on reading and math skills.  This website can be viewed at home, and your child will just need their username and password.  A letter, usernames, and passwords will be sent home soon.

I have updated the monthly calendar which is located on the PARENTS and CLASSROOM web pages.  It is loaded with all the important events throughout the school year.  I'm sure I'll be adding more events as the school year moves forward. :)

Also, I updated the birthday page webpage.  So students, click on the STUDENTS  link and then click on CLASSROOM BIRTHDAYS and find your birthday. :)  Enjoy!

I also added a link on the FUN STUFF webpage, called Website Awards.  Here is where you will all the awards our website has won or been given.  Check it out!

    My website is up and running for the 2006-2007 school year.  I still am finishing up the calendar page, so if you click on it, right now it's not working.  I am going to be at a new school this year, so once I get familiarized and meet my team I will updating links under 'students'.  Some of these links are from where I taught last year, and they are geared toward third grade.  So once I get that updated, I will put a note up.   Until next time...enjoy surfing!

    As of now, Mrs. Yemma's Classroom website is closed for the summer.  I will be working on getting the website ready for the upcoming 2006-2007 school year.  Until then, have a fabulous summer!
